Installed alongside the 3 offshore floating wind turbines, the FEH will ensure that the wind farm functions efficiently by centralizing the energy generated by the turbines at a single point, where the electricity is fed into the grid.

This will help guarantee a stable and reliable electricity supply. wind turbine can be temporarily disconnected from this hub without preventing the other turbines from continuing to produce electricity.

Construction has reached the final stages, and the buoy will be installed 18 km off the coast of Gruissan in October 2023.

The FEH will not only help guarantee a reliable energy supply, but also enable the transition towards more sustainable, environmentally friendly energy sources and practices.
